No value-based surcharge.
The grading and slabbing price does not increase with a card’s value or final grade. You are asked to insure your inbound shipment. The $8.95 return-shipping fee does not include insurance. Optional return insurance is offered separately after grading.
YOUR MINIMUM. YOUR DECISION.
Pause before the slab.
During ordering, you can choose a minimum grade for each card. If the inspected grade falls below it, slabbing pauses and you receive an account notice and email requesting a decision, with up to seven days to respond.
Choose to proceed with slabbing, or have the card returned unslabbed. An unslabbed return keeps the $11.99 grading & processing fee for the human inspection, and the $8.00 slabbing portion is refunded on your final order. If you do not respond within seven days, DGS proceeds with the prepaid slabbing and return.
OPTIONAL / DURING ORDERING

Turn on a minimum-grade check for any card in your order. If the inspected grade is lower, we pause slabbing and ask you what to do.
Choose to slab, or return the card unslabbed. An unslabbed return keeps the $11.99 grading & processing fee for the human inspection, and the $8.00 slabbing portion of your prepaid $19.99 is refunded on your final order. After seven days without a reply, prepaid slabbing and return proceed.
Altered, counterfeit or otherwise ungradable cards are disqualified from grading and slabbing. A $11.99 grading & processing fee still applies for the human inspection, and the $8.00 slabbing portion of your prepaid $19.99 is refunded on your final order.
